FRONIMUS UPDATE v0.1.2
This update focuses on optimization, world generation, combat improvements, and better WebGL support.
The previous WebGL version was mostly for testing, but I saw that people actually want to play it in the browser. Because of that, I made many changes to keep WebGL performance good enough to play.
Performance
- Optimized chunk rendering. Worlds should now load and fill much faster.
- Fixed a Cave Occlusion bug that could make worlds unplayable after long sessions.
- Optimized chunk sending for the internal server. Chunk loading should now feel faster and smoother.
- Improved WebGL performance.
Combat
- Added projectile mechanics.
- Added dynamite to test projectile and explosion behavior.
- Added a decoy bomb just for fun.
- Mobs are now more aggressive.
- Spiders can now detect players from a longer distance and deal more damage.
Commands
- Added double tap forward autorun
- Added `/setspawn` command for cheat-enabled worlds.
World Generation
- Generation overhaul.
- Added new mineshaft generation with random loot.
- The engine now supports large “mega structures” generated with a wave collapse system.
Visual Changes
- Updated grass rendering.
- Updated leaves rendering.
- Updated fire VFX.
Important: old worlds may not work correctly with this version. Adding full world compatibility would take much more time than I expected, so I decided to focus on improving the game first.

Project has been in development for a little over a year, and this is the earliest version I'm ready to share. Right now the game only has the basic mechanics try things out and experiment. Most of the game is still in development (the BETA 0.0.0 version kind of hints at that)

i like the game, it reminded me of nomifactory and i really appriciate that you made this, i could try the mod without supporting Microslop
Also make the Spiders more dangerous, i died more by drowning, the could shoot spiderwebs

You should add it where the belts can split outwards aswell instead of just combining, was trying to make a auto smelter and couldnt.
I thought about that, but you can use chests to separate items, one double chest can create 5 separate lines, and each conveyor can be filtered, so it shouldn't be a problem
Please add a confirmation to the world delete button, almost clicked it
hi dev I downloaded your game awhile back. In Minecraft I normally build a gated fence for the gardens to keep mobs from entering. But in your game spiders just climbs over the fence. That’s the only thing I would recommend fixing if you haven’t done so. Take Care 😉

Each time you start the game, it works like Minecraft’s “Open to LAN”, so anyone can connect to you via port 15551 sorry about that. I’ll add an "Open To Lan" button in the next version.

Great game! Feels like playing a modded minecraft without the lags! It run very smoothly, there's lots of QoL features that I really enjoyed. The crafting mechanism is great, but the workbench timer when crafting things is a bit weird. Also biomes, models and textures are really nice! Good job!!
Thanks! That’s fair about crafting table I trying to build a non tedious food/energy system where you eventually need to set up farms to keep producing things consistently In that kind of system having timers feels logical Anyway thanks a lot for feedback!
That's a good idea! Actually I really liked that crafting consume your food, the timer surprised me more but I understand the logic
